Karen

Karen has dedicated 40 years to the veterinary field, gaining experience as a receptionist, veterinary technician, and supervisor before moving into her current role as Pharmacy Technician. She has been part of the Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital team since its doors opened nearly 24 years ago and has witnessed tremendous growth and advancement within both the hospital and veterinary medicine. 

Originally from Pennsylvania, Karen earned a degree in Surgical Technology before relocating to Orlando. Her medical background and lifelong love of animals naturally led her to a rewarding career in veterinary medicine. 

Outside of work, Karen enjoys cooking and experimenting with new recipes for her family. She shares her home with a cat, backyard chickens, and four energetic dachshunds rescued through Dachshund Adoption Rescue and Education (DARE).
