Dr. Donnelly grew up overseas and at an early age was exposed to wildlife, exotic animals and experienced a culture of integration of animals in everyday life. This is where her passion for animals developed and she decided at a young age to become a veterinarian. She has a love for helping others, as she completed a two year Fellowship at Florida Epidemic Intelligent Service for the State of Florida. Dr. Donnelly is a graduate of the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine class of 2011. She obtained her Master of Science degree in Public Health at Emory University, Rollins School of Public Health, and her Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in microbiology at Humboldt State University. Dr. Donnelly started practicing small animal medicine in 2012 after spending one year in a large animal practice in Florida, and is passionate about preventive care and public health. She lives with her dog from veterinary school, Beau, and her three cats, Wren, Pippa and Olive. In her spare time, Dr. Donnelly enjoys spending time at the beach, reading and visiting her family in Gainesville, Florida.
