As the daughter of a veterinarian, Dr. Hinton has been involved in veterinary medicine her entire life. She grew up surrounded by animals of all types, and has worked in clinics as a kennel technician, receptionist, and veterinary assistant. During her freshman year of college, she realized that she wanted to be a veterinarian, too.

She earned a Bachelors degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida. After teaching middle school for two years, she went on to receive a Masters degree in Microbiology and Cell Science, and then received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine with honors from the University of Florida in 2022. She has a particular interest in Rehabilitation, Microbiology, Dermatology, and education.

In her off times, Dr. Hinton enjoys reading, running, and relaxing with her husband, Greyhounds, and Dachshund.
