Dr. Colon was born in St. Petersburg, FL and was raised in Orlando. Ever since she was a little girl, she knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She graduated with a bachelor’s in science from the University of Central Florida. She then went on to complete her Doctorate degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and spent her clinical year at the University of Florida. She also completed an externship at the SPCA in Titusville, where she found her passion for small animal surgery. After graduating in 2021, she then went to Brevard Humane Society where she volunteered her time doing surgeries for owned and shelter animals. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, going to the beach, and making meals at home.
