Alicia

Alicia is a Certified Veterinary Technician with over 15 years of experience. She has wanted to work in veterinary medicine since she was a child, and she feels fortunate to have turned the lifelong passion into a rewarding career. She began working as a veterinary technician in 2011 and has been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to both patients and their families ever since.

Originally from Europe, she relocated to Ohio, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from The Ohio State University and an Associate's degree in Veterinary Technology from Columbus State Community College. She moved to Florida and joined Waterford Lakes Animal Hospital in 2015 as a veterinary technician. She has had the opportunity to grow within the hospital, taking on additional responsibilities and leadership roles, eventually becoming the Assistant Hospital Manager. She is proud to have grown her career at Waterford Lakes and to continue being part of a team that is committed to providing exceptional care.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time at Disney with her husband and children, and caring for her two senior cats.
